Lightboard Room (CL505B) (Cofrin Library) Capacity: 1

Lightboard Room (CL505B)

Description

The Lightboard Recording Studio, located on the 5th Floor of the Cofrin Library (505B), offers a unique video recording experience as it  contains an eGlass board – a transparent, illuminated lightboard with a built-in camera. This eGlass setup allows the camera to capture both the user’s face and their writing on the board. The computer in the room is connected to the eGlass board which allows users to save their recordings and transfer them to other platforms, such as Kaltura MyMedia. It is recommended to review the following Lightboard Studio - Quick Start Guide (UknowIT) and CATL's article on Using the Lightboard (eGlass) to Create Engaging Videos before reserving the room. This room can be reserved online or at the service desk on the 3rd floor of the Cofrin Library. Only UW-Green Bay students, staff, and faculty can reserve rooms. UWGB instructors seeking to use this room for class-related activities or student projects are encouraged to reach out to CATL for a consultation before reserving the room.
